To the extent that L&R processes the personal data of participants over the course of this competition, L&R is the responsible entity with respect to the Data Protection Act.

L&R uses the personal data of participants exclusively within the scope of the statutory provisions of the Data Protection Act. L&R only processes this data to the extent that is necessary for carrying out the competition and/or that is permissible pursuant to the consent given by the participant. This may particularly also include provisions for L&R to contact participants by post in order to sent them the starter kit, or to contact participants by email in order to notify them of winning. No other contact is made with the participants on the basis of the personal data provided by participants as part of the competition, particularly not for the purposes of marketing or advertising.

Participants can assert their rights as laid down by the statutory provisions of the Data Protection Act. In particular, a participant can: (i) request information on the data stored about their person at any time; and/or (ii) revoke their consent to any further processing of their data; and/or (iii) request their personal data be deleted. In order to assert these rights, an email to L&R (for example) shall suffice. If the participant raises an objection to the further processing of their data and/or requests the deletion of the data, he/she will, however, no longer be able to participate in the competition.
